Your privacy
In short: there are no accounts, no cookies, no tracking and no ads. Your games stay in your own web browser. This page explains the little we do keep, and why.
Last updated 20 October 2026.
What the game remembers on your device
So you can stop and carry on later, the game remembers a few things in your web browser, on your own computer, tablet or phone:
- the game you are in the middle of, and every move you have made in it;
- which game you played last;
- your print size, and whether four colours or high contrast are turned on.
This stays on your device. It is never sent to us, and we cannot see it.
If you use a private or incognito window, your browser forgets all of this when you close the window.
How to remove what the game remembers
- Open your web browser's settings.
- Look for Privacy, then Site data or Cookies and site data.
- Find largeprintgames.com and remove its data.
Your saved game and your settings are then gone, and the game starts fresh next time.
What our server keeps
Like every website, our server writes a short note each time your browser asks it for a page or a part of the game. Each note has:
- the date and time;
- the page that was asked for;
- the name of your browser and the kind of device, as your browser reports them;
- the web page that linked you here, if there was one;
- part of your internet address. The last part is blanked out before the note is written, so the note does not point to your own connection.
We keep these notes for two reasons: to keep the site running safely, and to count how many people visit. The law in the UK and the European Union calls this a "legitimate interest".
The notes are deleted after a week at most. From them we make visitor counts: how many people came each day, which pages they read, and which browsers they used. Those counts are kept for 90 days, then deleted. Only we can see them. We do not use your internet address to look up where you are.
If you use the Windows app
The Windows app remembers the same things as the website: your unfinished games, the game you played last, your print size and your colours. It keeps them in small files in a folder on your computer, called Do Not Disturb Me Games, inside your account's AppData\Local folder. They are never sent to us. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
The app you download from this website checks for a new version about once a day. It asks our server for the list of versions (at dnd.me, our company's site, which runs on the same server as this one), and downloads the new version if there is one. Our server writes the same short note about each of these requests as it does for a page (see above), with "Velopack", the app's updater, in place of a browser's name. The app sends nothing else: not your games, not your settings, not even which version you have.
If you install the app from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft delivers it and its updates, and Microsoft's own privacy statement covers that. The Store copy does not check our server for updates.
What we don't do
- No cookies.
- No accounts, no sign-up, and nothing to type in about yourself.
- No ads, and no tracking or "analytics" code from other companies.
- Nothing on our pages is loaded from another company. Even the lettering comes from our own server.
- We never sell or share anything about you.
Other companies we use
- Microsoft runs the Microsoft Store, if you get the Windows app there.
- Hostinger rents us the server the site runs on, so the server's notes are stored on their computers.
- Our email provider holds our email. If you write to us, your email is kept there.
- Ko-fi: the "Support us on Ko-fi" button takes you to Ko-fi's own website, and their privacy policy applies there. Your browser tells Ko-fi only that you came from largeprintgames.com.
Questions
Large Print Games is made by Do Not Disturb Me Games. If you have a question about your privacy, email us at info@dnd.me.
You can ask us what we keep and ask us to delete it. If you live in the UK or the European Union, you can also complain to your country's data protection authority.
If anything here changes, for example if we ever show ads, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
