Seahaven Towers
A FreeCell-style game where the columns build in suit and every card is face up.
The aim
Move all 52 cards onto four piles, one for each suit, starting with the ace and going up to the king.
How the cards are laid out
- Ten columns of five cards, all face up.
- Four free cells at the top. The two cards left over start in two of them.
- Four places for the suit piles.
How to play, step by step
- A card can go onto a column when it is one lower and the same suit, such as the 6 of spades on the 7 of spades.
- Any card can wait in an empty free cell, one card per cell.
- Only a king, or a run starting with a king, can go into an empty column.
- A run of cards in suit can move together if there would be room to move it one card at a time: each empty free cell lets you move one more card.
- Aces go onto the suit piles, then the 2 of the same suit, and so on.
Tips
- Empty the two starting free cells as soon as you can.
- A king at the bottom of a column is already in its final place.
